Reliance Jio GigaFiber Launch in August: Expected Broadband Price, Plans and Features

Reliance Jio is ready for the commercial launch of its most awaited GigaFiber broadband service. One of the largest telecom providers in India, Reliance Jio, is launching its broadband ‘Jio GigaFiber’ commercially on August 12 this month. Since July last year, the company was planning to bring Jio JigaFiber to India. This service was available to only a few users as part of the beta test.

Jio GigaFiber Launch: Broadband service may come with different plans

Jio GigaFiber will be a fast internet speed network that will support different Internet products and IoT. Reliance Broadband is now going to offer GigaFiber service on an ultra-low tariff. A triple play plan may offer at INR 600 per month, that includes internet, DTH, and landline.

Reliance Jio GigaFiber will provide internet speed up to 1 Gbps (gigabyte per second) in a low tariff. But this plan will only be part of Jio’s premium broadband plan. Along with this, the company will also launch some internet plans for various speeds. Under these plans, the company can bring packages like Basic Internet Connection, Internet Connection + Giga TV, and Internet Connection + Giga TV + IoT.

GigaFiber can also offer its services like Giga TV and Smart Home Automation Products. The list of these Smart Home Automation products includes smart speakers, audio and video dongles, Wi-Fi extender and smart TV camera plug-ins.

Currently, Jio is providing GigaFiber Broadband service for free under a preview offer. But to get the full benefits of broadband services, users will need to deposit a refundable security amount of INR 4,500. However, this refundable security deposit can be revised in the future with various services of Jio.

In addition, Jio’s home broadband service base package may come at INR 500 per month. Also, the company can bring quarterly, half-yearly and annual plans for the users.
