First OnePlus handset was announced in 2014. Since then it’s building a reputation by launching flagship smartphones at a mid-range price. The Shenzhen-based company has now launched OnePlus 7 Pro.
The OnePlus 7 Pro has chosen ‘mid-range’ target and on a higher list price of $699. Company has gamble a little bit to bring more technology and features into its flagship smartphone. That means it’s aggressively approaching ‘cost vs hardware’ strategy. The OnePlus 7 Pro features can challenge Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S10 and Apple’s iPhone XS.

The display of OnePlus 7 Pro covered full front screen. The 6.67-inch display screen is gorgeous and has no hole-punched and notch for the primary camera. It became possible due to the front-facing pop-up camera, which was designed to sliding out up to 300,000 times. The display resolution is of 3120×1440 pixels (QHD+) with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The OLED screen is truly bright with ‘vivid’ colors.
However, the curved screen is slightly uncomfortable as edges pick up some awkward reflections. The selfie camera of the 7 Pro is a pop-up camera, that means it can be inside until you need it. A motorized mechanism lifts the camera when you prepare for a selfie. The main triple camera is using Sony IMX586 CMOS lens system. OnePlus 7 Pro is using an f/1.6 48-megapixel main camera which provides 12-megapixel snap by default. Another 117 degrees f/2.2 wide angle lens, and an f/2.4 telephoto lens.
The handset is using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 system. There’s no microSD support but having 12 GB RAM/128GB and 8GB RAM/128GB variants. The storage capacity of available of 256GB too. The aggressive Android-powered Oxygen OS will keep memory free, and helps open and switch apps smartly.
