Oppo Reno 2, Reno 2Z, and Reno 2F With Quad Cameras on Rear, Launched in India: Price and Specs

Oppo has revealed Oppo Reno 2 series on August 28. The Oppo has chosen the Indian market to debut the phone before launching globally. Oppo is among the top smartphone brands in India and popular in tear-2 and tear-3 cities. The series ‘Oppo Reno 2’ is the successor of ‘Oppo Reno’ that was introduced earlier this year.

Oppo Reno 2, Reno 2Z, and Reno 2F

In Reno 2 series, there’s a trio of smartphones which are – Oppo Reno 2, Oppo Reno 2Z, and Oppo Reno 2F. All the three phones of the series are featuring Quad-camera setup on the rear. Also, and all the three are running on ColorOS 6.1 that works on Android Pie. Another key point is, all Oppo Reno 2 series models have a 48-megapixel primary rear camera.

Oppo Reno 2 price and specs

Oppo Reno 2 is coming with a curved glass body. The display is of 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a 93.1% screen to body ratio. This’s a full HD display with a resolution of 2400 x 1000 pixel. Also, the aspect ratio is 20:9. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset and has Adreno 618 GPU. Here, the Snapdragon 730G chipset provides almost 15% increment in graphics performance, that offers gaming features along with HDR gaming support. Moreover, the phone is offering 8GB RAM and 256 GB of storage, And it runs on ColorOS 6.1 that is supported by Android Pie.

Considering camera, the Oppo Reno 2 features Quad cameras on the rear and a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies. The selfie camera works on a pop-up mechanism that ups like a Shark-fin. The Company claims that the front camera poping-up takes 0.8 seconds. This also supports Bokeh effects in videos.

 

 

Talking about the rear camera, a Quad camera setup is given with a standard 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with F/1.7 aperture that supports optical image stabilization (OIS). Second, the 8-megapixel camera is for wide-angle photography, offers a 116-degree field of view. Third, is a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, provides 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom. The fourth is a monochrome sensor that’s for creating a bokeh effect in the images. The camera provides many tricks and features for photography such as Study videos and Ultra dark mode.

The phone comes with a 4000mAh battery that supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging. In India, the price of Oppo Reno 2 has been set to Rs. 36990, and will be available from September 20.

Oppo Reno 2Z price and specs

Oppo Reno 2Z has a 6.53-inch AMOLED display with 91.6% ratio of screen to body. However, the bezel is visible unlike Reno 2. The Reno 2Z also has a quad-camera set up on the rear, which supports IOS and telephoto. Here, the aspect ratio is 19.5:9 and the screen is protected with Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back.

The phone is powering by MediaTek Helio P90 SoC and offering 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. This phone is also coming with 4000mAh battery and support VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

 

Oppo Reno 2Z

 

Like Reno 2, in the quad-camera setup on the rear, the primary camera is a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor. Also, an 8-megapixel wide Angle lens is here with 119-degree field of view. And a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor.

Talking about the selfie camera, it has a pop-up mechanism with a 16-megapixel lens. This camera has many features such as Ultra dark mode, Ultra study mode, Beauty mode, and Ambient Light mode.

On the security part, the phone has a fingerprint sensor on the display and face unlock. The Oppo Reno 2Z’s price is Rs. 29990, and the phone will be available starting from September 6 in India.

Oppo Reno 2F specs

Reno 2F has a 6.53-inch AMOLED screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen to body ratio is also the same as Reno 2Z which is 91.6%. The phone is using Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Ren 2F gets power from MediaTek Helio P70 SoC and offering 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It’s coming to with a 4000mAh battery which supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging. For security, there’s a Finger Print sensor on the display.

Reno 2F has a quad-camera with a 48-megapixel standard camera with Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor. The another, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with 119-degree field of view, and 2-megapixel portrait camera and 2-megapixel monochrome lens are also there in the camera setup.

For selfies, a 16-megapixel pop-up camera features with Ambient Light mode, Ultra Night mode, Beauty mode, and more tricks.
